First founded in Canada in 2001, the shawarma eatery now has around 190 locations across North America. Herman Grewal and his wife, Hina Grewal, are opening an Osmow’s location in Grandville.

Video shared with 7News shows the fire raging underneath a grill on the balcony. Another neighbor showed video of thick, black smoke filling the balcony. The fire has since been extinguished.
