Former Florida State baseball player James Ramsey has been named the new head baseball coach at Georgia Tech. Ramsey replaces long-time coach Danny Hall, who stepped down after the 2025 season.
Ramsey, one of the most decorated baseball players in FSU history, is the third former Seminole who is a current head coach in the ACC. He joins Link Jarrett at FSU and Mike Bell at Pitt.
He joined as an assistant coach in 2019 and was named associated head coach in 2021. Prior to his coaching stint at Georgia Tech, he spent one season as an assistant with FSU, his alma mater, in 2018.
