"Avengers: Doomsday" is now slated to hit theaters Dec. 18, 2026, and "Avengers: Secret Wars" will be released Dec. 17, 2027. Both films were previously planned for May in their respective years.
To match, the follow-up “Avengers: Secret Wars” is moving its release to Dec. 17, 2027, after previously being set for May 7, 2027.
Despite Robert Downey Jr. being cast, any temptation to show his face should be saved for Secret Wars, where, like in the comics, we finally get to see what the villain is hiding.
The studio will then release “Secret Wars” to Dec. 17, 2027. The post How ‘Fantastic Four’ Kicks Off Phase 6 – and Ends With ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ appeared first on TheWrap.
Doomsday has moved from May 1, 2026 to December 18, 2026, and Secret Wars is going from May 7, 2027 to December 17, 2027.
Luckily, Marvel recently published a massive hardcover Secret Wars omnibus edition that collects the entire run and several tie-in issues, and it's on sale for just $69.20 (was $100) at Amazon.
Likewise, "Avengers: Secret Wars" will be taken off its initial spring showcase of May 7, 2027 and given a frosty drop date of Dec. 17, 2027.
