A four-year-old boy is dead after receiving a fatal gunshot wound to the head, a Statesboro Police spokesperson said Thursday.

A shooting at the Hamptons Apartments in Statesboro Thursday night claimed the life of a 4-year-old boy. The child was rushed to the hospital but was later pronounced dead.
