Santee State Park hosts an estimated 200,500 visitors annually, he said. The park, located on Lake Marion, offers 30 rental cabins and 158 campsites year-round.

Discover Santee State Park, which sits on the edge of South Carolina's biggest lake, Lake Marion, and contains more than 10 miles of trails, RVs and campsites.

Santee State Park officials say the park could normally host hundreds of campers. However, those numbers are smaller now due to COVID-19 precautions.
