An application will be considered by the Sand City City Council at its next meeting Tuesday for a conditional use permit for a multi-room boutique hotel near the West End artists' district.

The 138,000-square-foot building will house 215 rooms, 3,000 square feet of meeting space, a 2,400-square-foot food and beverage area, along with a 1,700-square-foot fitness area, 227 parking spaces.
