MILAN (AP) — Despite missing an early penalty, Napoli bounced back from its first league defeat of the season to beat 10-man Sampdoria 2-0 and extend its lead at the top of Serie A on Sunday.

SSC Napoli has conceded a league-low 28 goals this season, while Sampdoria has scored a league-worst 24. Napoli finished level in its last match, 2-2, against Bologna away from home on May 28.
