Just outside San Bernardino on Route 66 lies the site of the 1954 accident that left Sammy Davis Jr. permanently injured.
Sammy Davis, Jr., also known as Mr. Entertainment, was an award-winning, versatile, accomplished singer, dancer, actor, and musician, who passed on May 16th, 1990.
The five-concert schedule begins Oct. 9 at Stern Auditorium in Carnegie Hall with a tribute to Sammy Davis Jr. and Sam Cooke, performed by Wayne Brady, the comedian and television host.
