Houser and Lazlow want to tell a new story about AI within that modern context. This isn’t HAL 9000, the rogue AI from Space Odyssey, or SHODAN, System Shock’s murderous digital construct.

On top of that, Dan Houser’s Absurd Ventures is developing another universe called Absurdaverse which will kick off with an animated project and a “story-driven action-comedy adventure game”.
