The staggering amount someone spent at Salt Bae's steak restaurant has gone viral and left customers divided over the price.

Nusret Gokce, also known as Salt Bae, is hiring a chef to whip up pricey menu items like Golden Giant Tomahwak steaks that cost $1,975 (£1,450) at his London restaurant for a measly $16 an hour.

Wells regards Salt Bae with respect. “Mr. Gokce has only one move, but he performs it with total confidence, and as anybody who’s ever been on a dance floor knows, that’s enough,” he says.

Nusr-Et Boston will be Salt Bae’s 16th restaurant location around the world and his third location in the U.S., according to the restaurant’s website.
