River gathered on Friday evening at a social club to raise money for victims of the fire at Gabriel House, and to pray for healing at St. Anne Shrine.

The Saint John’s Club on Rodman Street in Fall River will host the event that was originally slated to be held at the city’s VFW Hall, but was moved because of a turnout the original venue couldn’t accommodate. The event will start at 6 p.m. and there will be food, live music a DJ and a raffle.
