Kyiv has sent Moscow an offer to hold a new round of peace talks next week, just hours after Russian strikes across Ukraine claimed more lives.

A fire broke out in Moscow Oblast overnight on July 20 as Ukraine reportedly launched a drone attack targeting the Russian capital, local Telegram channels reported.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said the attack on Odesa injured six people, including a child. Russia launched over 30 missiles and 300 drones during its overnight assault that affected 10 regions of the country, he added on Telegram, and reiterated the importance of air defence provision.
