"We are thrilled to welcome The Ritz-Carlton Oahu, Turtle Bay to The Ritz-Carlton family," Jamie Kerr, vice president and global brand leader for The Ritz-Carlton, said in an Aug. 6 statement.

Renowned for its elegant take on modern luxury, Ritz-Carlton took over management of the renovated Turtle Bay Resort in July 2024, making it the brand’s third resort in Hawaii.

Turtle Bay started as a Hilton Hotel and later became a Texas-based Benchmark property. In 2018 the resort was bought by Blackstone Real Estate for $332 million.

The Turtle Bay Resort sits on 1,180 acres on the North Shore with 5 miles of beach and coastline. It features 450 rooms, including 42 bungalows with a separate check-in, and a private pool.
