The market launch of the Renault Megane RS Ultime is scheduled for spring 2023, replacing the RS and RS Trophy trims. The company didn’t announce pricing for the last hurrah of Renault Sport.

Power is supplied by the 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine shared with the Megane RS Trophy, rated at 300 ps (296 hp / 221 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque.

Renault has already confirmed the Megane name will continue in Australia with the all-new Megane E-Tech Electric in late 2023 – a small SUV, not a hatchback, and powered by batteries, not petrol.

While the end has not yet been officially confirmed, the news comes from a Renault official from Australia. It looks like 2023 will be the last year of production for the Megane RS as we know it.
