PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The Philadelphia Flyers have signed forward Tyson Foerster to a two-year contract worth $7.5 million. General manager Daniel Briere announced the extension Thursday. Foerster will count $3.75 million annually against the salary cap in the 2025-26 and 2026-27 NHL seasons.

Foerster, 23, will have a $3.75 million cap hit over the next two seasons of this bridge deal. He scored a career-high 25 goals last season.

The Flyers’ 23-year-old right wing received a new, two-year contract extension with an average annual value, or AAV, of $3.75 million. The total agreement is worth $7.5 million.In just 166 career games, the Alliston, Ontario, Canada, native has registered 48 goals/83 points.
