The Kansas City Chiefs locked up DE George Karlaftis for the long haul with a new extension, and head coach Andy Reid is glad it happened.

The Kansas City Chiefs are securing one of their homegrown talents, reportedly signing DE George Karlaftis to a contract extension.

He is the sixth Purdue offensive lineman to enter the transfer portal since the conclusion of the spring season last Saturday.
