In Hinduism and Buddhism there are hundreds of Named male Gods and several dozen major, widely known, Named Goddesses. In Judaism there is only one male God; but there are seven female Named prophets.

Muhammad was married to Khadija, a wealthy woman who inherited her family business and was 15 years older than him. She is considered the first follower of Islam after the prophet.
