The nine-acre site of the city's former high school celebrated its new title of Lakes Bay Unity Park at the Waterfront on Thursday evening.

Admission is free to the City of Alexandria’s annual Jazz Fest, Saturday at Waterfront Park. Enjoy musical performances, as well as poets reading their work.
