In 1998, Porsche celebrated its 50th anniversary with a win at Le Mans. The winning car was this 911 GT1, and apparently, Porsche wanted to give its fans the chance to see it in action once again.

Porsche France parked a heavily shadowed 911 Carrera on Twitter, part of a tease for a new special edition that will debut on June 29 at 9:11 a.m. local time.

A teaser shot of a mysterious 911 variant – most likely another heritage-themed special edition – was published by Porsche France on social media, ahead of its debut on June 29 in Le Mans Classic.
