Popstar Madonna called on Pope Leo XIV to visit the Palestinian children in Gaza “before it’s too late.” Madonna’s request to the head of the Catholic Church comes almost two years after the conflict broke out between Israel and Hamas.

Madonna has urged Pope Leo XIV to make a visit to Gaza amid the ongoing war. Taking to Instagram on Monday, the Queen of Pop issued an emotional plea to the leader of the Catholic Church to travel to the Middle East in a bid to support the "innocent children" of the city.

In two social media posts, the pop star said that she was “not pointing fingers, placing blame or taking sides.”
