The issue began at around 11:00 PM GMT / 6:00 PM ET (via Insider Gaming) and, currently, Sony’s PSN Service Status page shows an angry red circle for every aspect of PlayStation Network.

For now, as confirmed by the PlayStation Network Status page, the service is back up. We, and probably Sony, have our fingers crossed this’ll be the last such issue for a long time.
