Passengers aboard an American Airlines flight were evacuated Saturday afternoon following an incident with the plane's landing gear during takeoff.

Caitlin Burdi, a passenger aboard a Southwest flight that was forced to make an evasive maneuver to avoid a mid-air collision, said screams filled the cabin as they narrowly missed another aircraft.
