Officials in Kalispell, a town north of Helena, said authorities responded to the scene of a plane crash at Kalispell City Airport around 2:08 p.m.

A single-engine plane carrying four people attempting to land at a Montana airport crashed into a parked aircraft on Monday ,leading to a massive fir,e but caused no serious injuries, as per media reports.

The FAA said that the plane, a Socata TBM 700 turboprop, crashed into an empty aircraft on the ground. Kalispell Fire Chief Jay Hagen said the crash sparked a fire that spread to nearby grass before being put out. Several other aircraft on the runway were also struck, though no fatalities were reported
