Temperatures rise as we move through the workweek and there are more chances for thunderstorms in the Sierra on Monday.

Police activity was seen Monday morning in Elk Grove. Officers were seen around 5:42 a.m. at a property on Triplefin Way south of Whitelock Parkway.
