In 2023, Pikes Peak got a blizzard in mid-June. The year before that, there was snow at the summit in August – though that one could be considered a first snow of the season, rather than the last.

The all-electric Volkswagen I.D. R currently holds the overall record at Pikes Peak, reaching the summit in just seven minutes, 57.148 seconds—a record that’s stood since 2018.
