Cape Arago Highway was undercut by a major landslide, cutting off access to Shore Acres and Cape Arago state parks on Oregon's south coast near Coos Bay.

A popular campground on Oregon's south coast was evacuated due to flooding Friday while two other popular parks were inaccessible after a landslide.

In January, Texas initially purchased a 2,020-acre property from Burnet County for the park. With this purchase, the new state park will now be more than 3,000 acres in total.
