The fire was placed under control just after 8 a.m., according to the Philadelphia Fire Department. Smoke from the SEPTA bus depot fire was visible across the city of Philadelphia on Thursday, June 5.
Employees reported the fire around 6:15 a.m. at the SEPTA Midvale District, next to the Roberts Yard, in the 2400 block of Roberts Avenue in the Tioga-Nicetown section of the city.
