There is a chance storms could hit areas that have already received heavy rain over the past few days in South-Central Pennsylvania.
The FEMA Flood Map Service Center offers an interactive map that allows anyone in the U.S. to enter their address and see if they live in a designated flood zone. The tool can also be used to explore other areas, making it helpful for those planning a move, managing a rental property or checking on family or friends in another region.
States facing the highest risk, with regions noted, include eastern Oklahoma; Western Arkansas; far northeast Texas; northeastern Virginia; far eastern West Virginia; Maryland; Delaware; southeastern Pennsylvania; New Jersey; southern New York; Connecticut; Rhode Island; and Massachusetts.

Another round of severe storms and flooding swept across much of South-Central Pennsylvania on Tuesday. The rain came after some areas received nearly six inches of rain on Monday (see those totals below). Here are the 24-hour rainfall totals from around the Susquehanna Valley on Tuesday.
Strong thunderstorms are expected to start firing up in the early evening Wednesday. And some storms could dump 2 to 3 inches of rain in one hour, forecasters say.
Much of Central Pa. was under a severe thunderstorm or flash flood warning Tuesday as heavy storms rolled through the area for a second straight day.
"The Flash Flood Watch will expire for a portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following areas, Adams, Lancaster and York. The flash flooding threat has ended. Therefore, the Flash Flood Watch will expire at 11 p.m. this evening," according to the National Weather Service.
