SUGAR CREEK TOWNSHIP — A new one-mile section of the Pennsy Trail is being paved this week and next, between county roads 300 West and 400 West in Greenfield.

HANCOCK COUNTY — Mary Ann Wietbrock’s smile was about as broad as the 10-foot-wide Pennsy Trail when she cut the ribbon officially opening the newest stretch of the trail on Tuesday, June 20.

Once the second new section is completed in June, the Pennsy Greenway Trail now will run 12.5 miles, according to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
