Silent Hill: Downpour starts as Murphy Pendleton, the game’s main character, finds himself lost and alone in the woods after his prison transport bus crashes near the town of Silent Hill.

Silent Hill: Downpour first launched for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in March. The game was brought to Xbox Live’s Games on Demand service On Oct. 31 for $39.99.

Silent Hill: Downpour is launching on November 8th in Japan, but the game will only be available on the PlayStation 3. The official Silent Hill: Downpour twitter account announced the news.

A PlayStation 3 patch will be made available in the weeks to come, Konami add. They also mention that Silent Hill: Downpour will be available for download via Xbox Live starting October 30th for $40.
