WATERLOO - Paul Hein, the owner of Pablo's Mexican Grill, and a puppy he and his fiancee bought together, died early Saturday from injuries in a car accident.

The space previously housed other dining establishments, including Collins Restaurant, Star City Restaurant and, most recently, Rudy’s Diner Bar & Grill.
