The OPP are asking for help as they search for a federal offender known to frequent the Ottawa, Perth and Smiths Falls areas.

Earlier, the prosecution called Katie McLaughlin, a Canton firefighter-paramedic, described arriving at the scene during a storm, noting the presence of a police cruiser and a civilian vehicle.
