The Atlantic recently estimated what each major college football program might sell for if it was put on the market. And they put Oklahoma at a resounding $1.49 billion.

Oklahoma coach Brent Venables has lived some of the greatest offenses in college football history. Last year’s Sooners were not among them. “I don’t even know the rankings,” Venables said.

The Longhorns were one of college football’s best teams in 2024, finishing 13-3 and reaching the College Football Playoff semifinals. They’re expected to be similarly stout in 2025.
