Massachusetts is in for another six weeks of winter, according to Commonwealth’s official groundhog, Ms. G, who saw her shadow this morning at Mass Audubon’s Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary.

The official groundhog of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Ms. G, saw her shadow on Saturday morning just like Punxsutawney Phil.

Woody the Woodchuck, the state’s official groundhog who resides at the Howell Nature Center, began forecasting the weather in 1999 and has since forecasted accurately 65% of the time.
