Pavel1964/iStock Editorial via Getty Images Low-cost airline Norwegian announced Tuesday that it reached a deal to acquire three Boeing (NYSE: BA) 737-800 aircraft currently leased to its fleet.

Norwegian is in the process of securing long-term financing after completion, it said. Tuesday's deal follows the company's earlier purchase of 10 Boeing 737-800 aircraft announced in March.
