Max announced the start of production on Season 2 of "The Pitt" Monday with a new photo of Noah Wyle and Ken Kirby.

Actor Taylor Dearden who plays Dr. Mel on “The Pitt,” revealed to Collider that series star Noah Wyle is set to take on writing and directing credits for the new season.

HBO Max released a preview image and video to announce that production on The Pitt Season 2 was underway and would premiere in January 2026.
