A 23-year-old Jacksonville health care visionary will represent Florida in the Miss America Pageant in September.

Madison Whitbeck, the newly crowned Miss Virginia 2025, may be from Leesburg, but just days after earning the crown, she is officially calling Roanoke home.

She graduated from Ribault High School and the University of Florida. Now, Paris Richardson will represent the state at the Miss America pageant.

Paris Richardson, Miss Gainesville, was crowned Miss Florida 2025. Richardson, a University of Florida graduate, won a $20,000 scholarship and will compete in Miss America in September.

She competed as Miss Hoover, besting 42 other contestants for the 2025 state title. Terry will move on to represent Alabama at the Miss America competition.

The primary title changed permanently to Miss Alabama after 1946. Miss America 2025, Abbie Stockard, will come back home to crown the next Miss Alabama on Saturday following finals.
