The community is invited to give input on new designs for Maury High School at an event this Thursday. The second event in a series, this community engagement session will take place from 6 to 8 p.m.

Plans are moving forward for a new Maury High School in Norfolk's Ghent a neighborhoods. It's a project that's been the works for the last several years to address the current aging building.

Denton ISD recently posted renderings of the district’s fifth high school campus, which is scheduled to open in summer 2027. Funding for construction was included in the 2023 bond election.

The future of Maury High School took a step closer to reality as plans for a new structure were presented to the Norfolk Architectural Review Board on Monday night.
