The Salina Airport Authority announced Amazon’s purchase of 20 acres to build an approximate 90,000-square-foot distribution facility in the 1800 block of West Water Well Road.

Schedules may include 40-hour weeks, 30- to 36-hour weeks or 20 hours or less with the option of working additional hours if needed.

Organizers describe fear tactics, amped-up security, and daily town halls as workers vote on whether to unionize.

Amazon will bring a new distribution facility to the Salina Regional Airport industrial center, generating at least 100 new jobs in the community.
