Netflix added a full slate of Alfred Hitchcock movies to its library in June, including “Vertigo,” “Rear Window,” and “The Birds,” the terrifying 1963 film starring Tippi Hedren. The drama builds slowly but deliberately, as Melanie (Hedren) meets Mitch (Rod Taylor) buying a pair of lovebirds.

Netflix is still riding a wave of hit movies that are temporarily on loan from other studios. Unsurprisingly, many of Netflix's most popular films made the top 10 shortly after they arrived from their rivals.
