The former Mintwood Place, a longtime restaurant in D.C.’s Adams Morgan that closed two years ago, has reopened as Namak, an Eastern Mediterranean restaurant.

Namak scooped the prestigious award at the ceremony in London’s Porchester Hall. It saw off competition from Tomo No Ramen, Yafo, Adelina Yard, Root, Wilsons, The Ethicurean and Casamia.
