Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James continues to extend records in his 22nd NBA season after he was named to another All-Star Game. James was named a starter for the game when the league announced the Western and Eastern Conference's starting lineups on Thursday.

Thursday also brought news the NBA wanted LeBron and his son, Bronny to become the first father-son duo to participate in one aspect of All-Star Weekend. But they declined.

The NBA tried to get LeBron and Bronny into the Saturday night festivities, but the father and son duo turned down the invitation.

The NBA revealed the starters Thursday night — some of them, anyway — for the revamped All-Star Game, and there wasn’t much in the way of surprises. James is officially an All-Star for the 21st year, and Antetokounmpo is now the ninth player to win the fan vote in back-to-back seasons.
