The presumed No. 1 overall pick in the NBA draft is reportedly set to meet with the team most likely to select him later this month.

The Dallas Mavericks will get to know Cooper Flagg a little better ahead of the 2025 NBA draft. According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, Flagg plans to have a private visit with the Mavericks on June 17. That means his first official visit with the team will take place about a week before the draft.

As a one-and-done prospect, Georgia’s Asa Newell has all of the tools to succeed at the next level, he just has to continue to develop. At 6’11, Newell played mostly center in college, but with his size and frame, there’s a chance that he could play both the 4 and 5 in the NBA depending on how his skillset grows.
