Crews in northern Arizona are making some progress in their efforts to battle the White Sage Fire, which was sparked by lightning on July 9.
The project, led by EYTE director Theo Perkins, brought together youth volunteers and the mural's original creator Bree Maejor.
In addition to the South Rim Fire, two other fires are currently burning in the area of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. The North Rim Fire and the Warner Fire are being monitored.
