Rocky Mountain National Park announced on Friday that Old Fall River Road, which closed for the winter on Oct. 8, has opened for the season, offering visitors an up-close look at the high country.

Other years the park didn't get Trail Ridge Road open by Memorial Day were 2019-2022, 2015, 2011 and 2010, the park previously reported. Fall River Road is closed and usually opens around July 4.
