The exact powertrain specifications of the Triumph Thruxton 400 are not known yet. However, it will come with a 398cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC 4-cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

However, Triumph offers the Speed 400 with a capable powertrain: a 398.15cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that makes 40PS at 8000rpm and 37.5Nm at 6500rpm.
