Morgan City Police were made aware of an alleged inappropriate relationship between a teacher and a now former student. They got the report from the St. Mary Parish School Board, police say.

Chad Michael Duval Jr., 27, of Morgan City, is charged with nine counts of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13 and one count of sexual abuse of an animal.

Jail records show Katherine Ramerez Alberado, 30, of Morgan City, was arrested by the Morgan City Police Department on Tuesday, June 24.
