Top prize went to Homestead man.MIDLAND ― Gary Henzler of Homestead captured Best of Show honors in the 17th Midland Arts Council Summer Gallery with “Lady M,” an oil portrait of a dog.

This year's show features 97 works from 36 artists, according to Evelyn Adams, president of the Midland Arts Council. Winners received their awards at a reception Tuesday.
