Richard’s was the first Miss North Dakota to win an award in the preliminary round for evening wear. Richard’s is the co-host of North Dakota Today, which airs from 9 to 10 am, Monday thru Friday.

Miss North Dakota’s Teen winners were awarded $250. Pageant organizers say they’ve seen the competition grow. This year has the highest turnout they’ve seen in six years with seven candidates.
