MIAMI (WSVN) - A City of Miami police officer is facing felony charges after allegedly issuing a false traffic citation to a former girlfriend while she was deployed overseas, authorities said.

The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office tells 7News that the case is not linked to the four officers currently under investigation. As of Tuesday, no criminal charges have been filed.
